Pokemon Sun and Moon has been out for nearly a week now, and I’ve been spending pretty much every free waking moment glued to the screen of my 3DS; trying to catch as many of the new Pokemon as possible. This task hasn’t exactly been easy, particularly for this one Pokemon:
Salandit. Salandit is possibly one of the most interesting Pokemon introduced in Pokemon Sun and Moon. Now, the problem with Salandit isn’t so much catching it, it’s catching the right one. Salandit has this amazing ability that allows it to poison any type of Pokemon…even Steel types. While Salandit is still totally awesome as is, it gets a major stat boost upon evolving to Salazzle. The problem is that only the female version of Salandit is able to evolve. This isn’t a first for Pokemon…but it has to be the most cumbersome evolutionary line yet!
Salazzle, the much improved version of Salandit, is extremely fast at a base speed of 117, and a quite powerful special attacker at 111 base. Salazzle also comes equipped with Corrosion as its normal ability. The Corrosion ability allows Salazzle, along with Salandit, to poison absolutely any type of Pokemon! This includes Poison types themselves; and steel types.
*sigh* here’s to hoping to catch one of these elusive creatures soon. Anyone have any luck yet?
