The Dark Side is awesome, isn’t it?! I mean
we they have cookies, juice boxes, and video games! Then you have the Light Side **crickets**…yeah, no one cares about the Light Side! Need proof? You’re in luck! Today’s Pokemon is actually considered to be the Queen of Darkness and Destruction! Do you think you know who she is? Of course you do! She’s none other than the infamous Ms.Gothitelle of course!
Gothitelle’s evolution line is among one of the most weird Pokemon evolution lines that I’ve seen to date. The whole Exeggurtor line is by far the oddest in my opinion; how does it go from a bundle of disjointed eggs to a palm tree with 3 heads? While we’re on the topic of weird evolutions, let’s talk about my favorite Pokemon evolution line. My favorite evolution line thus far would have to be the Ralts line. The Ralts line offers you a sizable amount of options for your Pokemon; beyond just natures and abilities. Check them out.
Ralts: There really isn’t much to be said about Ralts. Ralts is typically only used for its Trace ability when trying to locate other Pokemon with their hidden ability.
Kirlia: Kind of the same thing as Ralts, with a bit more power. Kirlia is something that I would actually use in a battle…early on of course!
Gallade: From Kirlia, the evolution line branches out into 2 options. The least common, and arguably more difficult to acquire is Gallade. Gallade is a Physic/Fighting type Pokemon who doesn’t have the same super weakness to physic as pure fighting types. Gallade also doesn’t really have the weakness to bug or dark moves that pure physic types suffer from. Oddly, Gallade gains a weakness to fairy, which actually leads us to Kirlia’s other evolution…
Gardevoir: As you may have figured by now, Gardevoir is one of my favorite Pokemon. Why? Because Gardevoir is a beast! Especially when it mega evolves! The only thing that really sucks about Gardevoir is that it has weaknesses towards some pretty common move types: ghost, poison, steel. The sad fact of the matter is that virtually any Pokemon can learn a ghost type move, and the large majority of them can learn at least 1 poison move. You’d think she’d be relatively safe from steel type moves, but you would be wrong. It never fails that when I use my Gardevoir, who’s shiny by the way, in at the Battle Resort, I face a Pawniard who uses the move Iron Head right away and one shots Gardevoir. *sigh*
Getting back onto the topic of Gothitelle. Gothitelle resembles a wedding cake, doesn’t she? I mean, aside from her starting form as Gothita who kind of looks like Jynx, she grows in tiers. On a side note, I’ve noticed many people say that Jynx resembles Nikki Minaj. I do see that resemblance, and it’s hilarious; however, she does REALLY resemble something else which we’ll get into at a later date. Now, back to Gothitelle and her ever increasing tiers:
Notice how she goes from 2 tiers to like 5? Makes you wonder what her mega evolution would look like? My speculation is that she wouldn’t fit on the 3DS’s screen. I’m thinking a 10ft tall, dark and creepy as hell, Pokemon who adores throwing choice scarfs at you! The battle might go something like this:
Gothitelle: Here! Take this lovely scarf!
Your Pokemon: But it’s not cold out!
Gothitelle: But it will be! Take it!
Your Pokemon: But I don’t want it!
Gothitelle: TAKE IT NOW!
Your Pokemon: Ok!
