Ice cream! With all of the possible flavor and texture combinations, who wouldn’t shriek in delight at the mere idea of having a bite?! Today’s featured Pokemon definitely looks delicious enough to take a couple of bites out of, though I doubt that it would taste very good…and you could end up frozen solid!
Vanillite is a super adorable, and equally fierce, Pokemon that reminds me of a cone of soft serve ice cream. Ok, maybe Vanillite in particular isn’t so “fierce” per say. The scary part of this Pokemon begins with its 2 evolutions, particularly the second one. At level 35, this cute little Vanillite turns into Vanillish:
Vanillish enjoys using Frost Breath. Frost Breath always results in a critical hit and virtually never misses, despite its 90% accuracy. Frost Breath is particularly dangerous to any grass, flying, and/or ground types you may happen to have on your team. That’s not all! As deadly as Vanillish can prove to be in its current form, it has an even more powerful evolution known as Vanilluxe:
Vanilluxe is the final evolution of the Vanillish lineage. With all of the power of Vanillish, and a lot less of the “adorable factor” present with Vanillite, Vanilluxe is a formidable Pokemon. Vanilluxe’s move of choice is Mirror Shot, and occasionally Sheer Cold. Mirror Shot, when used under the right circumstances, can be deadly. Sheer Cold is kind of like a last resort for Vanilluxe. Unfortunately, anytime Sheer Cold is used by Vanilluxe, it almost never misses! For anyone who doesn’t know, Sheer Cold is dangerous because it’s a one hit K.O! However, there is a cool way to get around Sheer Cold, and its ground equivalent known as Fissure. If it’s used against a Pokemon that has the ability Sturdy, it fails.
All 3 of these Pokemon resemble floating ice cream cones, right? That’s why we’re making homemade ice cream today! So, pull out your ice cream machine, scoop, and bowls because we’re about to get started!
